The most important thing first: In winter there is a permanent road closure on the L198 between Lech and Warth due to avalanche danger. Warth is therefore accessible in winter exclusively via the Bregenzerwald (L200) or the Tyrolean Lechtal (L198). Many navigation systems do not have this information and still navigate you over the Arlbergpass. The frustration is then great, because before the barrier it goes no further and the detour takes up to 2 hours.
